The Founder
From studio floors to AI
I started in distribution. I thought a good film was enough — that the hard part was getting it into theatres. We did that. We booked the cinemas, got the media, did everything right and the films made no money.
That's when I understood what was actually missing. Not the film. Not the screens. Marketing. The strategy that connects a film to its audience before it ever reaches a theatre. So I shifted my focus entirely to film marketing and I watched what happened when filmmakers tried to hire agencies to do it for them. Last-minute changes. Misaligned strategies. Campaigns built for the agency's portfolio, not the film's audience.
Brilliant films were never finding their audience. Not because the work was bad, but because nobody taught filmmakers how to market.
So I became a producer. I started working with filmmakers from the very beginning building the marketing and distribution strategy before a single frame was shot. That changed everything. Films found their audiences. Revenue followed.
Then came the idea I think I was always building toward. What if every filmmaker — not just the ones who could afford an agency or happened to know someone like me — could have access to this? A platform that handles the marketing and distribution thinking, available from day one of production.
That is Ramiro AI. Born from 18 years of doing this at the highest level. Supported by Tech Nordic Advocates and built through the accelerator programme in 2024 and 2025. We already have paying clients and films that have found their audiences. We are just getting started.
